Eurostar back on track as routes reopen
EUROSTAR is restoring one daily service from London to Amsterdam from 9 July, but passengers in the reverse direction will still have to change at Brussels for security checks. Trains to Disneyland, near Paris, will also be running again from 2 August. Eurostar had withdrawn most of its services in response to the pandemic. Meanwhile the operator has increased the flexibility of its fares, with passengers travelling Standard or Standard Premier now able to change their bookings without charge up to 14 days before the original date of travel. This will also apply to existing bookings which were made in advance. Until now, only passengers in Business Premier, the highest class, had been able to change bookings without penalty. In a further move back towards normality, bookings for Christmas travel will be available from tomorrow.
